The Institute of Biological Chemistry (IBC) is committed to creating and maintaining a welcoming and supportive work environment for all members through building an engaging and interactive community that works together to meet the research and education mission of the IBC.
The IBC Employee Engagement Committee seeks to identify areas for improvement for enhancing a positive workplace culture for all members and leads activities that build a supportive working community within the IBC. In addition, the committee works to enhance beneficial working relationships between the IBC and CAHNRS, WSU, and local communities. Actions of the IBC Employee Engagement Committee include: organizing socials, networking, and educational events; acting as a point of contact for IBC members to provide feedback on workplace environment; and provide initiative recommendations to IBC leadership.
